Tip: When covering the billiard table, the correct tension of the cloth is decisive for the subsequent rolling characteristics of the balls. Stretch the cloth evenly over the slate plate when stapling or gluing it down to avoid wrinkles or loose spots. By no means should you throw away the remnants of the cut: they are perfect for re-covering the cushion segments or making small repairs. After covering, it is recommended to brush the cloth thoroughly once with a special billiard brush to remove loose fibers immediately.
