Product information "Leather-tipped corrector, 10 to 14 mm"
The essential specialized tool for exact, flush trimming of glue-on tips directly at the ferrule
The Leather Tip Corrector is the perfect aid for professional installation and maintenance of your equipment. Designed like a clever, oversized pencil sharpener, this tool is dedicated to the precise finishing process after gluing on a new leather tip. Thanks to a generous housing opening and a specifically tapered cutting blade, it effortlessly removes overhanging edges to create a perfectly seamless transition to the ferrule – a fundamental prerequisite for maximum ball control and a clean, responsive feel at the billiard table.
- Precise edge cutting: The conically arranged blade matches the overhanging material exactly and flush to the diameter of the ferrule.
- Broad compatibility: The special sharpener is excellently suited for all common glue-on tip sizes with a diameter from 9 mm to 14 mm.
- Sustainable quality: The high-quality knife blade used is characterized by long durability and can be easily replaced if necessary.
- Reliable manufacturing: As a quality product labeled "Made in Germany," this tool guarantees highest precision and longevity for regular use.

Tip: When installing a new glue-on tip, it is ideal to choose one a shade larger than the actual ferrule diameter. After the glue has fully cured, place the Corrector over the tip and rotate the shaft with gentle, even pressure. The sharp blade peels off the excess material cleanly without damaging the wood or the ferrule. Afterwards, the new tip is perfectly prepared to be shaped with a trimmer and roughened for optimal chalk adhesion. This handy tool is part of the basic equipment for every professional workshop.
Over time, leather tips tend to "mushroom," forming a cap. The Corrector allows you to trim this overhang (10–14 mm). CAUTION: The cue MUST be inserted straight!
