Due to their special material properties, carbon shafts require a fundamentally different handling compared to conventional wooden shafts. Please note, therefore, that for service work on carbon shafts (e.g., tip or ferrule replacement), a surcharge of €5.00 will be applied compared to the standard prices for wooden shafts due to the increased time required and the necessary specialized treatment. Thank you for your understanding – this ensures that your equipment maintains its accustomed performance even after maintenance.
Please select "Leather Tip Replacement" separately as an add-on! Would you like us to work on a carbon shaft? Please add the "Carbon Handling" option to your order! The melamine ferrule we use is chalk-resistant—meaning virtually no more unsightly discoloration! Note: These are not snooker ferrules!! Can you actually tell yourself if a ferrule is loose? Yes, you can. Chalk tends to accumulate in the gap at the junction between the ferrule and the wood; this is a sure sign of a loose ferrule. This is clearly visible in the fourth image. All three shafts show distinct signs of play and wear, but on the shaft in the middle, chalk has become lodged in the gap. This ferrule is loose and must be replaced.
